About NestKick

A builder in your corner for the very first step.

NestKick exists to give early ideas a practical path out of the nest, with honest guidance and real hands-on building, long before you need a full product firm.

Who's behind it

A builder, engineer, and founder mentor.

NestKick is led by Phillip Planes, a technical builder with a background that spans engineering, software development, IT infrastructure, fabrication, and hands-on prototyping.

The work is shaped by the same idea-to-prototype mentoring used with student founders at Wake Forest and High Point University: take the rough idea seriously, pressure-test it honestly, then build the simplest real thing that moves it forward.

If your idea is not a fit, the free consultation will tell you. If it is, you will have someone who can think through the product and build across software, hardware, AI workflows, and physical prototyping.

Why we're called NestKick

Your idea needs more than hope. It needs a path.

Most ideas stay in the nest because the next step feels too expensive, too technical, or too uncertain. NestKick gives the idea a practical path into the real world without forcing you into a giant commitment.

We help you incubate the idea, hatch the first version, and test whether it is ready to fly farther.
