Simple, honest pricing
Start with the easy yes.
It costs nothing to find out whether NestKick is the right first step. From there, every paid engagement is scoped around the right first deliverable that moves your idea forward, with no surprise invoices.
For select projects, alternative fee structures may be available, but the first goal is always clarity, not pressure.
Why it feels safe to start
The smart first decision before the expensive ones.
NestKick is built for people who are not ready to bet the farm, but also do not want to keep wondering. The first step is confidential, practical, and high-leverage enough to make every bigger decision clearer.
Start with a free idea-fit call
No pitch deck, prototype, or technical background required. Bring the messy version.
Make the first bet smarter
We scope the right first deliverable before you consider a bigger build.
Get honest pressure-testing
We look for the weak spots early, when changing direction is still cheap.
Keep it yours and confidential
Your idea, code, designs, and project details stay yours. We treat early ideas with the discretion they deserve.
Good questions
Straight answers before you reach out.
Is the first call really free?
Yes. The 30-minute idea-fit call is free and has no obligation. The goal is to figure out whether NestKick is the right first step for you, and to point you somewhere better if it is not.
What does a project cost?
Paid work starts at $1,000 and is scoped to the specific deliverable that moves your idea forward, whether that is strategy, design, software, hardware, or a demo. You will see the scope and price before any work begins, so there are no surprise invoices.
Who owns the idea and the work?
You do. Your idea, code, designs, and project files are yours. NestKick is a hands-on partner that helps you build the first version, not an incubator that takes a stake in your business or steers your decisions.
Will you keep my idea confidential?
Always. Everything you share is held in confidence, and we treat early ideas with the discretion they deserve. You also stay in control of how much you reveal, especially on the first call.
Do you sign NDAs?
Generally not at the idea stage. Like most mentors and investors, we talk with many founders and similar ideas overlap, so a blanket NDA creates risk on both sides. We work on trust, discretion, and reputation, and confidentiality terms can be written into the agreement once a paid engagement begins. For genuinely sensitive technical detail, we are happy to discuss a simple mutual agreement before going deep.
Do you ever take equity instead of fees?
For select projects, alternative fee structures may be available. It is the exception, not the norm, and it never changes who owns and runs the venture: you do. The first goal of every engagement is clarity, not pressure.
What stage do I need to be at?
Any stage. We work with first-time founders and seasoned ones, bootstrapped or funded. You do not need a business plan, a technical background, or a polished pitch. A promising idea and the willingness to test it is enough.
Where are you located, and do you work remotely?
We are based in North Carolina and work with founders almost anywhere. We meet in person whenever it makes sense, especially for physical prototypes, and work remotely the rest of the time.
Start with the easy yes
One free call. Zero pressure.
Find out whether your idea is ready for a prototype, and what the smartest first step would cost. If we are not the right fit, we will tell you.
